Option A - didn't boot into recovery mode, it just stayed on manufacturer logo screen. Option B - wasn't possible, as required A to work. Option C - again required step A access, which I can't get to Option D - I would rather adter this option as this is my main freelance work computer, with a lot of important programs and apps I can't afford to lose.
You will have to cut Media creation tool on another computer if you can't do this on updatf existing computer. Note - You will get the option to keep your files during reset. But it will remove third party apps including Microsoft Office which will need to be reinstalled.

Same problem after update. Yes, 100 let it do its automatic repair. Re-downloaded the update and restarted the pc didnt shut it down after update and it worked.
